Gala History

The Night of Hope Gala has become a transformative annual fundraiser, making a profound impact in our community and beyond for individuals living with Alzheimer's or dementia, as well as their loved ones. It all started in June of 2021 when Anne Fraser, fueled by her personal experiences and a deep desire to effect change, took part in the Longest Day Fundraiser for the Alzheimer's Association. What began as a Longest Day activity quickly blossomed into the first-ever Night of Hope Gala. Led by Anne and her five friends, the gala exceeded all expectations, raising over $20,000 with approximately 200 attendees. This remarkable achievement laid the groundwork for our future endeavors and ignited a passionate dedication to raising Alzheimer's awareness within our team.

In 2023, our annual gala reached new heights, reflecting the continued growth and impact of The Night of Hope. With over 440 attendees, the event proved to be a resounding success, raising over $155,000. The overwhelming response and outpouring of support from the community have strengthened our commitment to advancing Alzheimer's research and education. The Night of Hope Gala has become a shining symbol of hope, a beacon for individuals and families affected by Alzheimer's, and each passing year, we strive to make an even greater impact in the fight against this debilitating disease.

Through the collective efforts of our dedicated team, passionate supporters, and the community at large, The Night of Hope Gala stands as a testament to the power of coming together for a common cause. With every dollar raised and each heart touched, we move closer to a future where Alzheimer's is a thing of the past. Together, we are making a tangible difference and providing much-needed support to those affected by Alzheimer's and dementia, instilling hope and resilience in their lives. Join us on this inspiring journey as we continue to grow and create a lasting impact, bringing light and hope to individuals and families on their Alzheimer's journey.
